Climb Stetind with a local, internationally certified IFMGA Mountain Guide. Stetind (1391m) is Norway’s “National Mountain” and for a good reason.
Stetind Stetind (1391m) is Norway’s “National Mountain” and for a good reason. It is by far the most unique and beautiful peaks in the country. The climb of the normal route is easy but very exposed ridge climbing. With a certified IFMGA mountain guide you will be safe all the way.
Every day from July to September
The climb takes between 10-14 hours from the car. There is about 3h up to Halls presummit where we tie in to ropes and from there approx. 2h up to the summit and the same times down. This gives us an average time on our climbs of 11h. But there is no stress and we make sure we enjoy the day.
The Parking lot directly under Stetind. We may be able to pick you up in Narvik. Narvik has a good variety of accommodations from 4 star hotels to cosy guesthouses. Or you can stay in a tent close to Stetind,or we can suggest other options for accommodations in Tysfjord.
